WSWA Season & Tournament Schedule

  • Tournaments include: SAWA local Tournaments, CA-USA Wrestling State Tournaments in Fresno

Sacramento Area Wrestling Association (SAWA) Tournaments

YOU WILL NEED A CURRENT 2023 USA WRESTLING CARD, WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED AT:  https://www.usamembership.com.

DIVISIONS

Advanced, Beginner, and Girls (separation by division when available).

SAWA TOURNAMENTS ARE DONE ACCORDING TO ACTUAL WEIGHT.  IT IS CRITICAL THAT APPROPRIATE WEIGHTS ARE ENTERED DURING REGISTRATION.  POOLS ARE CREATED PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT AND AN INACCURATE WEIGHTS COULD SLOW DOWN THE START OF THE TOURNAMENT OR RESULTS IN A WRESTLER BRING REMOVED FROM THE TOURNAMENT WITH NO REFUND.

REGISTRATION IS ONLINE AT TRACKWRESTLING.COM.  REGISTER AND PUT YOUR EXACT WEIGHT.  THERE IS NO ON-SITE WEIGH-INS.  IF YOU ARE CHALLENGED ON YOUR WEIGHT THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT AND ARE DETERMINED TO BE EXCESSIVELY OVER THE WEIGHT GIVEN, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE TOURNAMENT.

Wrestling start time is approximately 9:00 am, however times vary due to the size of the tournament.

REGISTRATION FEES

Regular Tournaments:

  • $20 Freestyle
  • $20 Folkstyle
  • $10 Greco

Club Championships:

  • $25 Freestyle
  • $25 Folkstyle
  • $15 Greco
  • Note: Only freestyle goes toward club championship

Foundation Tournament:

  • $25 Freestyle
  • $15 Folkstyle
  • $15 Greco

SAWA Championships:

  • $30 Freestyle (include T-shirt for all freestyle wrestlers)
  • $25 Folkstyle
  • $15 Greco
